A girl with bright orange hair flashed through the corridors at a speed that had others double glancing. Her skin was pale and her body was small. But why the rush? It was because the only thought that she was focusing on was that she needed to get away. The heart in her chest pounded heavily, matching the beat of her steps on the stone floors she sprinted on. Not exactly having an idea where she was going, she took lefts, rights, stairs, secret passageways, everything. Eventually, she ended up in front of the library.
Kaitlyn glanced from left and the right before slipping into the room filled with books. The hope that the person had stopped chasing her, she felt a bit better as she went over to one of the table and plopped down. Boy did she miss being a student here. It made her feel younger again, as if the only care in the world was to pass N.E.W.T.S. and who won the World Cup. Now, the major things to think about were the lack in students, financial problems, and interaction issues. Sorry, but this girl was a freelancer, not a good person who can keep a job.
She didn't really want to give up the school, but if it came down to it.. she would probably do it. Which meant she had to find a replacement Headmisstress or Headmaster. It scared her.. the thought that she might always be here. I mean, she could loathed staying in one place too long.. it was hardly worth the effort now. There were no new students and the school was going down hill.. big time. The other Headmisstress disappeared and a lot of the professors resigned after what happened. I mean, that event was major. But was it major enough for parents to stop sending their kids to Charmed?
Kaity's eyes ran over the few students and the many shelves in the big, round room. It was warm in here, with a darkish tint to it. A cozy room.. it made you feel welcome and happy inside. This was definitely one of her favorite places in the castle. The library just had this aura to it that made you never want to leave.. until the librarian kicked you out and sent you to your common room. Memories of her times in these walls flooded her thoughts as she smiled... reminiscing in the days of old.

The snazzy Professor Hormmat had taken a seat beside Kaitlyn, a smile upon his face. But, like always, it was contagious, making her beam back at him. He was a pretty good looking guy that could hold his confidence without becoming too egotistical. That was something she was rather fond of him for. But, she would probably never really say that to him.. or would she? Headmisstress Carter was a strong kind of gal, but she was also a tad skittish and a bit on the inexperienced side when it came to Charmed. "Hey there, Professor Hormmat," She spoke in her musical-like voice.. it had become that way from many years in Chorus at muggle schools. Tucking a lock of straight, orange/red hair behind her ear, she shifted her legs so they became crossed.

Kaity couldn't help but smirk at his ever-so-graceful bow. It was such a chivalrous gesture that she didn't really know how to react. Curtsey maybe? Hell, she wasn't wearing a dress. So, she stuck with just sitting there, her brown eyes watching his every move. His first name.. how, cliche. But it was still rather polite and a bit tantalizing to her as she nodded at him. "Of course, Fyre.. How've you been these past few days? Haven't seen you much, unfortunately." She spoke to him, trying not to seem too pleased with having him to talk with. It was true, that she had been locked up in her office the last few weeks due to schooling information.
